KATARRO ZINE was born on June 2015 during WONDERBEE & INDIGNADAJONES first collaboration and common experiences.
The occasion was “the PASSION&PAIN event” on the Minesweeper Collective boat in Deptford, London. Why the name of KATARRO (that means rheum)? It’s because KATARRO is like something that has to be kept for a while in the throat but then to be ejected, so the two artists realise it in no more than 48 hours collecting in It all their sketches.
It has to be fast and spontaneous. The KATARRO ZINE is a black and white paper, at its third issue.
Each number has the same structure: the front cover shows date and place of production, the back cover shows the picture of an animal, in the inside pages you find “INPUT and OUTPUT” columns. A detachable poster, drawn by the two artists is always available in the middle of the Zine.
